I switched from SmartFTP to FileZilla a month ago. I like the overall design and user-friendliness of it. But it keeps disconnecting from my server every 5 minutes or so, I'm not sure exactly since the command line lacks a timestamp but I think it's about 5 minutes.
This can be quite annoying as I was trying to upload a large folder recently and it disconnected in the middle of the transfer. I tried all different server settings to no avail. One thing I do notice is in the network configuration wizard, when I test my client it says "Response: 502 Port mismatch. That was both when I had it set to "Ask operating system for a port." and when I tried to restrict the ports to 7000-7040 after forwarding them all to my PC. I am using the ProFTPd plugging right now on my Appbox.
